Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala Masanja and Bongo Flava singer Harmonize have once again sparked relationship speculation after appearing together in a candid interview, just weeks after the musician confirmed that they had separated for the third time.
The former couple was filmed together at a waterfront event, where they opened up about their complicated relationship and what continues to draw them to each other.
The clip, shared on TikTok on September 25, showed the two comfortably discussing their on-and-off romance.

During the conversation, Kajala was asked about her decision to keep finding her way back to Harmonize despite their repeated breakups.
The actress explained that her decision was not simply because she had nowhere else to go or could not find another person to love her.
“Nimerudi tu kwa sababu sina pa kwenda au sina mtu ambaye anaweza kunipenda. Ni kwa sababu yeye anavyonifanya mimi, I feel comfortable nikiwa naye,” Kajala said.
Her explanation offers a glimpse into the emotional connection that has kept the pair linked despite their turbulent relationship history.
Harmonize admits there is still love.
Harmonize also addressed their relationship during the conversation, noting that it is unusual for people who have had a deep relationship to separate and later sit together so comfortably.
The singer appeared to acknowledge that the bond between them has not completely disappeared.
“Ni mara chache watu wakawa kwa mahusiano deep kuwachana halafu mkaja kukaa hivi kama vile tulivyo kaa. Ni machache sana. There is love between,” Harmonize said.
A relationship filled with breakups and reunions
Harmonize and Kajala first began dating in 2020 before separating in 2021. They later reconciled in 2022, broke up again, and eventually found their way back to each other for a third time in late 2025.
Their latest reconciliation became public in January 2026, when they were seen together at several events.
However, on September 4, Harmonize confirmed that they had separated again, saying they had already been apart for about three months. At the time, he described the decision as a mature one and said the relationship was no longer working.
The singer also spoke respectfully about Kajala, saying he did not want to reveal details that could damage her reputation. He described her as a good person and acknowledged that their relationship had been characterised by repeated back-and-forth.

Their latest appearance has naturally raised questions about whether the two have reconciled once again.
While their conversation showed that there is still a strong connection between them, neither Kajala nor Harmonize explicitly announced that they are officially back together.
