Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has today criticized politicians who recruit young people during campaigns to engage in violence and destroy property. He warned that such actions harm Kenyan communities, noting that businesses targeted are vital sources of youth employment. Kindiki stressed that political differences should never justify destruction, urging leaders to focus on development and empower young people positively instead of dragging them into divisive and violent politics.
