The upgraded roads are expected to ease transport for residents, farmers, and businesses, boosting access to markets and essential services. Alongside infrastructure, the government is supporting farmers through reduced‑cost fertiliser and livestock cross‑breeding programmes, aimed at lowering input costs, enhancing productivity, and strengthening household incomes across the agricultural value chain.
