Kenyans have been urged to change their perceptions of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and embrace their farming to boost food security. Officials from the National Biosafety Authority assured Kenyans that genetically modified food products undergo safety assessments before being approved for growing and consumption. The officials spoke during a GMO sensitization drive in Kwale County.
