Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says the 56-million-shilling Kanyoni fresh produce market in Gatundu North, Kiambu County, is 80 per cent complete. Kindiki inspected the project alongside local leaders, saying it is among 31 markets being constructed in Kiambu and 500 others countrywide. The markets are part of the government’s plan to provide small-scale traders with modern trading spaces and improve their business opportunities.
