The government has been urged to urgently end the ongoing lecturers’ strike to prevent further disruption of learning. Educationist Dismas Magori says the strike is delaying academic calendars, confusing first-year students and increasing the cost of keeping learners in university. His remarks come as some students opt to return home because they cannot afford to stay in university while learning remains suspended.
