Hate speech cases have declined significantly over the past month, according to the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC). NCIC CEO Daniel Mutegi says there are fewer cases, particularly involving high-profile political leaders, compared to previous months when hate speech was common at political rallies. The decline comes as political campaigns intensify across the country.
