Anti-drug activists have welcomed the destruction of Methamphetamine drugs in Mombasa, saying it demonstrates government efforts to curb drug trafficking and use. CEO of Reach Out Rehabilitation Centre,Taib Abdulrahman says the move has cut off the supply of the drug, which could have posed a major risk to the community if it entered the market. He adds that the destruction sends a message to drug traffickers that the government is watching.
