University lecturers have issued a seven-day notice to begin a nationwide strike over the government's failure to implement the 2025-2029 CBA. UASU Secretary-General Constantine Wasonga says that the action also responds to authorities ignoring a previous Return-to-Work Formula and failing to provide a financial counter-proposal despite ongoing negotiations.
