Kenyan universities have three years to rethink teaching and prepare for students expected to join under Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) in 2029. Speaking at an inaugural lecture in Nairobi, KCA University Vice Chancellor Isaiah Wakindiki said institutions must invest in laboratories, innovation hubs, curriculum design and assessment, while continuously retraining staff to meet the demands of the new system.
