Cereal Millers Association has assured the public of strong sector preparedness ahead of El Niño rains and potential maize shortfalls. CEO Paloma Fernandes says farmers are actively using proper drying techniques and hermetic bags for safe storage. Fernandes also notes that the National Cereals and Produce Board is offering drying and warehouse facilities to protect harvests and secure the national food supply.
