A former enterprise owner who lost his business to overwhelming debt has received a vital financial boost from a Nairobi corporate director.

Loise Kamanu, the founder and director of Sifa Crafts Limited, extended a hand of help by donating Ksh 50,000 to assist the man by the name Powel Ochieng in his recovery.

The cash donation was presented as part of an online community relief effort aimed at helping Powel manage his financial obligations.

Understanding the pressures of the branding and stitching trade, Kamanu decided to offer direct support to Powel.

Online campaigner Ndungu Nyoro publicly shared news of the gift, describing the occasion as Powel's Day. Nyoro announced the gesture in a statement detailing the contribution.
