Police officers from Obama Police Station have seized 187 kilograms of cannabis sativa, valued at Sh5.6 million, during a breakthrough operation in Ruai, Nairobi. Two 17‑year‑old Ugandan nationals were intercepted on patrol and later led officers to a house where the massive consignment was recovered. A 33‑year‑old woman, Susan Omondi, was also arrested. All three suspects remain in custody awaiting arraignment, as authorities intensify efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks.
