Supporters of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna can finally heave a sigh of relief after Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya announced that the party registration issue has been sorted. In a social media post, Natembeya noted that they finally have a party they can proudly call home. This comes after the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties rejected Sifuna and Natembeya’s push to rename the United Democratic Party. They had sought to rename it Ukombozi Party of Kenya for Sifuna to use in the 2027 General Election.
