Despite confusion surrounding the Linda Mwananchi coalition, allies of Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna say plans to launch his new political party remain on course. This follows the rejection of Sifuna’s proposed use of the name Ukombozi by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties. In a social media post, digital strategist Pauline Njoroge said the new party will be launched in 11 days, adding that Sifuna has organised himself well ahead of the launch.
