Former Nairobi Governor and philanthropist Mike Sonko has revealed another addition to his multi-million-shilling vehicle collection.
On 18 September 2026, Sonko published a video on his official social media pages showing his white Maserati Levante SUV at a car wash.
"Sijui ni kwanini I'm in love with cars hivi. Hii ndio Maseratti nilijiletea car wash manenos."
High-End Convoys and American SUVs
Sonko is known for displaying his wealth, expensive outfits, jewellery, and luxury vehicles. His extensive fleet includes off-road vehicles, heavy-duty SUVs, and sleek sports cars.
Key vehicles in his transport convoys include two 2020 Cadillac Escalades. Each Escalade is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Japanese Off-Roaders and Custom Paint Jobs
Sonko's collection features several Japanese off-road vehicles. His 2018 Lexus LX570 comes with a 5.7-litre V8 engine producing 383 horsepower. The vehicle offers 8.9 inches of ground clearance and five multi-terrain modes. It is valued from Ksh15 million upwards depending on customisation.
His garage also includes customized Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series models. His gold-plated Land Cruiser V8 SUVs weigh an estimated 2.7 tonnes and feature a 4.5-litre V8 engine. A 2018 to 2020 model costs around Ksh14 million. A custom paint job at his garage costs an estimated Ksh200,000.

Convertible Models and Fleet Variety
For leisure driving, Sonko owns a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. The soft-top convertible features a bi-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine with 329 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
At the press of a button, the roof folds away into the back. The model starts at about Ksh6.7 million.
Sonko owns several other luxury models. These include Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons, an electric BMW i7 sedan, a Porsche Cayenne, a Hummer H2, a Toyota Crown Athlete, and Range Rover Sport and Vogue models.
Logbooks, Community Service and Family Gifts
Sonko has made public disclosures about the scale of his vehicle ownership. In May 2019, he displayed over 100 logbooks during a live national television broadcast. He stated that he had donated most of his fleet to his community organisation, the Sonko Rescue Team.
