Teacher Cillah has sparked fresh conversation online after sharing a video of herself dancing closely with a mystery man at a nighttime event, weeks after her viral social media exchanges with President William Ruto’s son, George Ruto.
Cillah, whose real name is Priscilla Wanjiku Karanja, is a Grade Three teacher at Westlands Primary School and a popular education content creator.
She gained widespread attention in August after jokingly expressing her interest in marrying George, turning their playful online exchanges into one of the month’s most talked-about social media stories.
The latest video shows Cillah at what appears to be a nighttime festival. String lights and tents can be seen in the background as she dances alongside an unidentified man.

A rose and a message about healing
The man is seen standing behind Cillah as Shakira’s Waka Waka plays. He then hands her a rose, which she accepts while smiling and continuing to dance.

“To anyone going through heartbreak… Yes! It’s your turn. I healed.”
She did not identify the man or state that the two were romantically involved.
The video nevertheless prompted speculation among her followers, particularly because of the timing and the romantic gesture captured in the clip.
George Ruto’s reaction catches attention
While the mystery man became the focus of the video, social media users also noticed another familiar name in the post’s interactions.
George Ruto had liked Cillah’s video, according to reports, prompting some followers to comment on his reaction.
Cillah first went viral after joking about wanting to marry George following his sister Charlene Ruto’s traditional wedding in August. The online banter escalated, with Cillah sharing AI-generated wedding images and joking about becoming part of the Ruto family.
George eventually met Cillah in person when he visited Westlands Primary School on August 25. He interacted with pupils, joined Cillah’s classroom and pledged support for the school with learning and sporting equipment.
During the visit, George also appeared to put an end to the romantic speculation, telling those present:
“First of all, to set the record straight, niko na bibi.”
He described the earlier exchanges as social media banter.
From viral banter to a new video
Cillah’s encounter with George became another major moment for her growing online following. A video showing their school meeting reportedly attracted 2.6 million views within two days, while her TikTok account had accumulated more than 15 million likes at the time.
Now, her latest post has shifted attention back to her personal life.
Whether the man in the video is a friend or someone closer to Cillah remains unclear. For now, the teacher has only shared the moment and her message about having healed, while George’s simple interaction with the post has added another talking point for her followers.
