Twelve people have been arrested in Kiambu County as authorities intensified a multi sectoral crackdown on illicit alcohol following one death in Kimende, Lari Sub County. Security teams raided outlets across the county, seizing 211 litres of muratina brew, assorted counterfeit liquor brands, and 378 rolls of bhang. Officials say the operation will help safeguard communities, reduce fatalities linked to toxic brews, and restore public confidence in local safety measures.
