SHA has paid out Sh193 billion to support healthcare services across the country as Kenya steps up efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage. SHA CEO Mercy Mwangangi says the amount represents new funding that was not available in the health sector three years ago. She says SHA has also financed 29-point-five million visits under the Primary Health Care Fund.
