Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has dismissed political leaders questioning his cultural endorsement as Mt. Kenya kingpin. On Saturday, elders from the Gikuyu, Embu and Meru communities crowned him to lead unity, reconciliation and development in the region. Speaking at Gaciongo Market in Tharaka Constituency, Kindiki said the elders are the custodians of culture in their communities, and politicians have no authority to challenge their decision.
