Controversial content creator Andrew Kibe has shared his views on religion and artificial intelligence during an appearance on The Couch Connect podcast.

Speaking during the episode, Kibe argued that modern technology holds greater practical value for him than traditional religious scriptures. He said people focus too heavily on ancient biblical figures rather than on modern tools.

"I cannot stand those books [Bible and Quran] because they’ve been overtaken by time. It’s like going to university. AI will tell me everything I need to know," Kibe said during the recording. "So, AI is more of a god than Jesus."

He added that society remains overly fixated on historical religious texts.

"We are busy focused on a book that has nothing to do with us," he remarked. "We were living our lives based on David, how? Who is David, who is King Solomon? We don’t know them!”

Leaving the Church Behind

During the interview, Kibe detailed his personal background with religion and his former attempts to engage with Christianity.

He explained that he previously sought to establish a spiritual connection and attended church services regularly. He recalled raising his hands in prayer in an effort to experience something supernatural.

"I really really wanted to be spiritual," Kibe reflected. "I wanted to feel God."

However, Kibe stated that he failed to experience any spiritual connection.

"I wanted to feel something supernatural," he said. "I never did."

Kibe ultimately decided to walk away from organised religion after concluding that churches operate primarily as commercial entities. He asserted that he had acquired more knowledge than the pastors leading the congregations.

"I see this is just a hustle," Kibe stated. "Church and religion are just a hustle."

Personal Timeline and the Impact of Automation

Kibe also reflected on the factors that initially drew him toward church involvement.

He explained that his religious participation was heavily influenced by his mother. He described himself as having been close to her during his younger years, noting that she encouraged him to attend services.

However, Kibe noted a major shift in his personal life that occurred a decade ago.

"I stopped listening to her 10 years ago," Kibe explained. "We stopped having conversations 10 years ago."

Turning his attention to technological developments, Kibe highlighted the rapid rise of artificial intelligence in everyday life. He pointed out that automated systems are already displacing human workers in technical fields such as software design and computer programming.

"AI took out coding in seconds," Kibe observed.

He questioned the value of traditional university degrees, arguing that automation is rendering skills like accounting and coding obsolete. Kibe concluded that technological tools now offer immediate answers, contrasting them with religious doctrines that he considers irrelevant to modern life.
