Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has criticised opposition leaders for vowing to scrap the Social Health Authority if elected to government next year. Speaking in Kabarnet, Baringo County, he accused them of speaking from a position of privilege, calling their stance hypocritical and disconnected from the everyday struggles of ordinary Kenyans who depend on affordable healthcare.
