CITAM Presiding Bishop Calisto Odede has urged Kenyans to thoroughly vet candidates before backing them at the polls. Speaking during a sermon at CITAM Karen, he discouraged voting along emotional, party or tribal lines, saying citizens should instead weigh contestants' solid and realistic policies. Odede also called for an independent IEBC, impartial security forces and responsible political speech as the country heads toward the elections.
