Preacher Prophet David Owuor has sparked widespread public debate following a video recording in which he discussed his own death. In the recording, the preacher made reference to a divine message regarding his demise in Jerusalem.
“My time is over, because I’ve seen myself going back to the kingdom of my father. I’ve seen myself complete the work,” he said in the video.
According to Owuor, this declaration marks a pivotal moment in his prophetic timeline. The preacher alleges that he met with God in the sky.
“When he came to speak to me, we met somewhere in the sky up here and he spoke with joy, he talked about my assassination in Jerusalem and he said ‘it’s good’.”

Public Skepticism and Disappearance Theories
The footage quickly circulated across online social media platforms, drawing varied reactions from members of the public. A significant portion of the online commentary focused on skepticism regarding the announcement.
Social media user Gilead_1 suggested that the statement might precede a temporary absence from public life. "He’s probably planning a disappearance then appear again after sometime claiming he’s been sent back again for a bigger mission," Gilead_1 wrote in a post.
Another commentator, Thambangwenze, questioned the preacher's long-term motives. "The bugger has amassed enough and just wants to go into permanent hiding to enjoy his loot," Thambangwenze commented.
User JiMMy expressed a similar view regarding retirement. "Huyo anataka kuretire, aende aenjoy life bila stress," JiMMy posted.
