Germany-based Kenyan content creator Vindee is travelling back to Kenya next week following a week of public family disputes.

The resolution comes after an intense period of online exchanges involving public accusations, emotional video broadcasts, and financial claims.

Phone Call and Kenya Journey

After days of tension, Vindee shared that his mother reached out by telephone to resolve the matter.

She apologised for making the public claims against him. Vindee accepted the apology and asked for forgiveness for any wrongs on his part.

"My mother called me, and we talked things out. At the end of the day, family is family. I choose forgiveness, peace, and love," he wrote.

"She apologized, and I also asked her to forgive me if I have ever wronged her, as well as my siblings," he added.

He confirmed plans to travel home to meet his mother in person.

"I'll be coming to Kenya next week to see her in person. Maybe she wasn't in the best condition, and I just want to be there for her," he said.

He concluded by stating that domestic issues would no longer be shared publicly.

"I don't want to bring family matters online anymore. Some things are better healed privately," he wrote.

Public Claims and Financial Disagreements

The dispute began when Vindee's mother’s tearful video circulated online. She claimed that her son was neglecting her financially and alleged he failed to send KSh 15,000 during a family illness.

Vindee denied the accusations. He stated that he regularly provides financial support to his family.

Vindee questioned why private domestic matters were posted online to tarnish his personal brand.

Emotional Broadcast and Childhood Burden

The situation escalated when Vindee's sister broke down in an emotional live video to address their mother directly. Vindee was seen weeping alongside his sister during the broadcast.

"Today Lorin sends you money, tomorrow you victimise her,” Vindee's sister said in a rebuttal video.

His sister recalled being left behind during primary school. She detailed how she and her brother took on heavy responsibilities early in life.

"You left us with a burden. I was in Class 5. You said you were going to carry a load," she alleged.

She highlighted how Vindee stepped up to finance their younger sibling's secondary education. He took responsibility for Form 1 expenses despite personal and financial hurdles.

She also pointed out that another relative, Lorin, routinely sent financial aid. She claimed their mother retaliated whenever money transfers experienced brief delays.

Additionally, the sister challenged people advising her mother online to reveal themselves.
