Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Shollei wants police gender desks moved to health facilities to make it easier for survivors of gender-based violence to report abuse. Shollei, who is also Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, said survivors should not be forced to report cases at police stations. She also called for safe houses for GBV victims in every county.
