Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has challenged his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua to account for his time in office by highlighting his development record in the Mt Kenya region. Kindiki also urged political leaders to abandon name-calling as a campaign strategy. Speaking in Meru County after inspecting construction at Nyambene Level Five Hospital and Maua Modern Market, Kindiki criticised the opposition leadership, saying it lacks a clear agenda for the country.
