AHF Kenya pharmacist Dennis Irungu notes that developed countries and pharmaceutical companies frequently use pathogen data from developing nations to patent vaccines without sharing the final medical products. Irungu emphasizes that safety during a pandemic requires collective protection, calling for developing nations to receive a fair share of all resulting vaccines.
