Kenyan content creator Lydia Wanjiru has shared a candid video documenting her decision to restart weekly Mounjaro injections after gaining 10kg.
Wanjiru previously used semaglutide injections to drop a significant amount of weight before undergoing cosmetic procedures.
However, the subsequent weight regain prompted her return to medical weight management.

Unbothered by potential backlash, she framed the update as a transparent check-in with her audience, promising weekly progress updates to track visible body changes.
"Guys, you see my katummmy? This is what I'm trying to get rid of," Wanjiru told her followers, setting an open tone for her journey.
Her openness has reignited a lively debate online, with followers split over the reliance on injectable medications for body image control.
Wanjiru is no stranger to public conversations surrounding body transformation.
She previously lost over 25kg using semaglutide injections (Ozempic) before undergoing a series of cosmetic procedures, including a tummy tuck, liposuction, an arm lift, and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
How Mounjaro Works and Dosage Administration
Rather than treating the update strictly as lifestyle content, Wanjiru walked her audience through the step-by-step medical process on camera.

She explained that Mounjaro lowers blood sugar levels, so it's essential to avoid taking the dose on an empty stomach to prevent sharp drops in glucose.
To drive the point home, she tested her fasting blood sugar live, recording readings between 3.4 and 4.6 mmol/L, and noted that typical normal fasting ranges fall between 4.2 and 7.2 mmol/L.
"We don't want you falling outside," she cautioned viewers while emphasizing the importance of meal timing.

Her choice to resume the weight-loss injections after gaining 10kg has sparked mixed reactions on social media.
