Kenyan comedian and content creator Jaymoh Decin has issued his first public statement following his debut solo stage production, the Sudhe Experience, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
Taking to his social media pages five days after the event, Decin addressed his supporters, collaborators, and family. He acknowledged the emotional weight of transitioning from digital skits to a major live venue.
"Honestly, it was a dream that I still can’t believe became a reality."
From Online Skits to the KICC Stage
Decin built a widespread online following through character-driven comedy skits, notably portraying characters such as Choke Jingli and performing popular social media parodies.

"To see people who have supported me online actually buy tickets, show up, and stand with me in the room was nothing short of a blessing,” he said.
Overcoming Doubts and High-Stakes Pressure
Reflecting on the period preceding the show, Decin disclosed that the project brought significant personal and logistical hurdles. He noted that maintaining momentum during rehearsals and ticket drives required substantial sacrifice from his core team.
The comedian extended explicit thanks to his cast, director, technical crew, drivers, caterers, and parents, noting that their collective effort sustained the production through difficult moments.
"There were so many challenges, sacrifices, sleepless nights, doubts, and moments when giving up seemed easier. What looked impossible became possible, and I will never stop thanking God for that."
The live performance featured theatrical entrances that sparked widespread online discussion, alongside guest appearances by regional comedians and musicians.

Decin concluded his reflection by confirming that the KICC showcase marks the beginning of a broader performance series rather than a single event.
"This is not the end. This is just the beginning of greatness."
He revealed that creative work for Sudhe Experience Season 2 is already underway.
