Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji has, through his lawyers, demanded an impartial investigation into the deadly violence that erupted at Nembure Stadium in Embu County, during a UDA delegates’ meeting presided over by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki. In a letter lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, accused the National Police Service of pursuing and intimidating his client despite earlier indications that he was not a subject of investigation. Mukunji resurfaced on Sunday evening, accusing police of laying siege to his home over the violence waiting to apprehend him.
