Kenyan musician Tanasha Donna and her son, Naseeb Junior, have touched down at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam.
The mother and son arrived ahead of a major family event hosted by Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz and his partner, Zuchu.
Diamond and Zuchu are preparing to host a lavish 40-day celebration for their newborn daughter on Saturday, 12 September. The gathering is scheduled to take place at the Saint Laurent Garden, situated in the Kawe area of Dar es Salaam.

A Regional Family Reunion
The upcoming event, widely dubbed a gathering for the "Child of the Nation", has drawn Diamond's children from across the region to Tanzania.
The celebration follows the birth of the couple's daughter on 2 August 2026, marking Zuchu's first child and Diamond's fifth.
Earlier this week, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan—Diamond's children with South Africa-based businesswoman Zari Hassan—also landed in Dar es Salaam. Their arrival marked the beginning of a multi-family reunion as relatives assembled to observe the traditional milestone.
Cultural Significance of the 40-Day Milestone
Observing a 40-day milestone after childbirth carries cultural significance across East Africa, often marking the end of the postpartum recovery period for the mother and offering a formal occasion to introduce the newborn to extended family and close friends.

The high-profile gathering at Saint Laurent Garden is expected to draw prominent personalities from the regional entertainment industry alongside members of the Dangote family. Preparations at the venue remain underway ahead of Saturday's festivities.
Evolving Co-Parenting Relationship
Tanasha and Diamond began dating in late 2018 and welcomed their son, Naseeb Junior, in October 2019. The couple parted ways in early 2020 after roughly a year together.
Despite their past separation, both artists have publicly committed to maintaining a supportive environment for their son.

Over the years, Tanasha has occasionally visited Tanzania to ensure Naseeb Junior stays connected with his father and extended family.
Since their split, both individuals have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship, periodically reuniting for family events and personal milestones involving their son.
