Nameless and Wahu Fly Family to Mombasa for 21st Wedding Anniversary
Kenyan music stars David Mathenge, known as Nameless, and Rosemary Wahu Kagwi have flown their family to Mombasa to mark 21 years of marriage.
The couple celebrated the milestone on 10 September 2026, exactly 21 years after tying the knot by the lake.
A Coastal Getaway
Nameless posted updates online as the family arrived on the Kenyan coast. He praised their flight with Skyward Express and commended Sarova Whitesands for welcoming them. Hotel staff greeted the family with special welcome music.

The musician confirmed that the coastal city remains the family’s favourite holiday destination.
Reflecting on 21 Years
In a message dedicated to his wife, Nameless reflected on the moments they have shared since exchanging vows. He expressed appreciation for their journey together and their three daughters.
"Today we celebrate 21 years since we said “I Do!” by the lake, with family and friends all wishing us well."
He continued with another statement expressing gratitude for their time together:
"It’s been a ride and a half and I can’t help but be grateful for the beautiful years and moments we have shared together!!"
Nameless closed his post with a direct message to Wahu:
"3beautiful gals later 😊, Happy anniversary babe! You still the one!"
From Campus to Lake Naivasha
The pair’s relationship began long before their 2005 wedding ceremony. Nameless and Wahu first met while studying at the University of Nairobi. Nameless was an architecture student, whilst Wahu studied mathematics.
They dated for nearly eight years before holding their wedding on 10 September 2005. The ceremony took place outdoors on the shores of Lake Naivasha at the Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Over the past two decades, the couple built a prominent presence in East African popular music while raising their three daughters—Tumiso, Nyakio, and Shiru. Their coastal trip to Mombasa marks another milestone in one of Kenya's most enduring celebrity marriages.
