Kenya has assured the diplomatic community that the August 10, 2027 General Election will be free, fair and peaceful. Speaking during the First Quarterly Diplomatic Briefing in Nairobi, Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi said the government is strengthening inter-agency coordination to identify emerging threats early before the election date. He also assured diplomats of the government’s commitment to respecting and strengthening constitutional institutions to promote democracy.
