KEPRO has called for stronger collaboration between producers, government and consumers to address Kenya’s growing waste challenge. Speaking during a media breakfast in Nairobi, stakeholders discussed the role of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in promoting sustainable packaging, recycling and a circular economy. The meeting also highlighted the need for greater public awareness, producer accountability and practical waste-management solutions that benefit communities across Kenya.
