Kenyan socialite and digital creator Amber Ray has opened up about her partner Kennedy Rapudo’s changing attitude towards her decision to undergo several cosmetic procedures in Turkey.
Amber shared the revelation during an Instagram question-and-answer session after a fan asked how Rapudo felt about the procedures.
According to Amber, Rapudo was initially strongly opposed to her decision to undergo multiple plastic surgery procedures.

Amber, however, revealed that Rapudo’s opinion changed after he saw the results of the procedures.
“Before the procedure, he was so against it! But now that he’s seen the results, he keeps saying, ‘I can’t wait for you to get back,’” Amber shared.
She added that she was unsure what exactly Rapudo meant by the comment, accompanying her response with laughing and emotional emojis.
The revelation has offered a glimpse into the couple’s conversations surrounding Amber’s transformation, with Rapudo apparently moving from being firmly against the procedures to looking forward to seeing her again.
Amber details painful liposuction experience
Amber also previously disclosed some of the details surrounding her cosmetic transformation in Turkey, including her experience undergoing 360 liposuction.
She revealed that the procedure took approximately six hours and described the pain she experienced after waking up from anaesthesia as extremely intense.
According to Amber, she rated the pain at 9 out of 10 before painkillers eventually helped ease the discomfort.
Her openness about the process has continued to generate conversation among her followers, particularly as cosmetic procedures become increasingly visible among social media personalities and celebrities.
The KSh924,000 smile
Apart from the body procedures, Amber also revealed that she was investing heavily in her dental transformation.
She said she was having 21 teeth done at approximately KSh44,000 per tooth, bringing the estimated total cost to about KSh924,000.
Amber also addressed comments about whether her new appearance was natural, making it clear that the results were part of her deliberate cosmetic and dental transformation.
Her latest revelations have once again put the spotlight on the growing trend of Kenyan influencers travelling abroad for cosmetic procedures, with many documenting everything from the surgeries and recovery process to the final results.
