UN establishing November 27th as an international day to eliminate early and forced marriage is a vital platform to raise awareness and hold governments accountable, but it is not enough to eradicate the practice. According to Samburu youth advocate Rosilla Lenanyokie, Kenya must focus on empowering girls through accessible education and trusting youth to lead the change.
