The Centre for Rights Education and Awareness (CREAW) has welcomed the UN's adoption of November 27th as an international day against child, early, and forced marriage, calling it a vital push to protect children's rights. According to CREAW's Fundraising and Program Development Manager Angelina Cikanda, the UN’s initiative is a vital opportunity for both national and county leaders to review harmful cultural practices, enforce protective policies, and hold duty bearers accountable to end early marriages across the country.
