Kenyan media personality Betty Kyallo has firmly shut down suggestions of expanding her family, just four months after welcoming her baby girl, Nova Aurora Jones.
The television star and her husband, Charlie Jones, shared a candid and humorous conversation about their future family plans, which quickly sparked a wider debate online.
Betty delivered her daughter, Nova Aurora, on April 15, 2026. For Betty, baby Nova is her second child, but her husband's playful proposal for "a couple"more children has met a very clear response.
A Playful Family Proposal
The discussion began during an intimate family moment when Charlie looked at Betty and made his feelings known.
"Now you're looking very fertile, huh? Are you ready to make this house a big home, babe?” he asked her.

Betty immediately shut down the suggestion, laughing but remaining firm in her decision.
"No, babe. I'm not having another baby," she replied. "Babe, no. First of all, we've just figured out the best gentle care baby pants. We figured out the sleeping patterns."
The Cost of Convenience
Charlie, however, argued that their recent discovery of high-quality "gentle care baby pants" made expanding the family much more practical. He claimed the nappies are so efficient that they make parenting far easier and more affordable.
"It's actually the baby pants that are making me think of another baby," Charlie explained. "At night, you know, the changing is very different. You don't have to change a couple of times. Just one."
He added that the nappies are a highly economical choice for their household. "It's actually very affordable and economical," Charlie said. "Not like other brands where you change 1234567 8 and 10."
High-Tech Nappies and Family Plans
The couple went on to discuss the technical design of the baby pants, specifically their built-in "zigzag technology."
"Oh yeah, that thing," Betty said, recalling her initial confusion. "The first time I saw the pants, I was wondering likewhat is this zigzag zigzag stuff? Then I looked it up. It's actually technology."
Betty explained how the design prevents the nappy from becoming heavy and uncomfortable. "It helps the distribution of the wetness evenly," she said. "So it's not going to sag."
Charlie used this technical benefit to press his case for more children. "Everything is distributed. And you know, the baby's comfortable... And we can make room for others," he joked.
"So you're saying because we found gentle care baby pants, we should add more babies?" Betty asked.

Betty ended the discussion with a cautious, "Let me think about it."
'No Way' Says Healing Mother
Despite telling her husband she would think about it, Betty later took to social media to set the record straight for her fans. Sharing her reaction online, she made it clear that she is still recovering from childbirth and is definitely not ready for another pregnancy.
"Ati another baby! Weeeuh! No way! Hata sijapona," Betty wrote, using the Swahili phrase meaning she has not yet fully healed.
She added: "But guys got so many jokes. However he is so right about us getting the baby stuff right."
With baby Nova Aurora Jones currently at just over four months old, it is clear that while Charlie is ready to build a bigger home, Betty is focusing entirely on her recovery and enjoying their new routine.
