Betty Bayo’s firstborn daughter, Sky, spent the day after her birthday enjoying a cosy outing with her late mother’s husband, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash.
Sky shared a TikTok video showing the two enjoying boba tea and chocolate-drizzled waffles at a restaurant. The relaxed moment came a day after Tash organised a surprise birthday celebration for her.
In the selfie-style video, Sky introduced Tash to her followers before asking him how he was enjoying the boba tea.
“We are spoiling ourselves,” Sky said.

Sky says she paid the bill
The teenager also playfully revealed that she had paid for their outing, adding another humorous moment to the video.

Outing comes amid custody dispute
Sky and her younger brother Danny are the children of Pastor Victor Kanyari and the late gospel singer Betty Bayo.
Following Bayo’s death, a public dispute emerged over the children’s care. Kanyari has previously alleged that he was denied access to Sky and Danny and sought custody through the courts.
Kanyari later said in June that he had regained custody of the children after intervention from several people.
The situation has continued to generate discussion online, with some public figures calling for restraint and for the children’s welfare to remain the priority.
