Tanzanian R&B musician and entrepreneur Juma Jux has broken his silence regarding rumours about him fathering a child.

The 35-year-old artist shared a formal public notice on his Instagram stories, stating that he is taking legal action against the person behind the allegations.

The statement comes at a busy time for the singer. Jux is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, and the couple recently celebrated the first birthday of their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, who was born in Canada in August 2025.

There have been reports circulating claiming that I am the father of a certain person's child. I have been following this matter calmly, without giving it weight that it does not deserve or merit,he said.

Protecting a Hard-Earned Reputation

In his public statement, Jux explained that he initially decided to ignore the claims, preferring to monitor the situation quietly.

However, as the rumours continued to circulate, the singer felt compelled to speak out. He noted that the claims were beginning to impact his personal and professional life.

However, since this matter has now gone far and continues to involve my name, my family, my businesses, and the image I have built over many years through sweat and hard work, I have found it important to speak on it briefly," Jux added.

Prior Confrontation and Recorded Denials

According to Jux, this is not the first time these allegations have surfaced. When the claims first emerged, the singer took steps to contact the woman involved to understand her motives.

During their interaction, the woman admitted that the claims were entirely untrue.

"The person concerned confirmed in words and with their own voice that they have never met physically with me nor had any romantic relationship with me, and even asked me not to give weight to this matter," Jux revealed in the notice.

Legal Authorities Step In

With the rumours resurfacing and gaining traction online, Jux has decided that quiet diplomacy is no longer enough. The matter has now been handed over to legal authorities.

"Since these claims have now re-emerged and taken a different direction, this matter is now in the hands of legal organs, and further actions will be taken against the person concerned," Jux warned.

The singer urged the public and the media to refrain from sharing unverified and misleading information. He made it clear that those spreading falsehoods would face legal consequences.

"Therefore, anyone who chooses to associate my name, my family, or my businesses with untrue claims must be ready to be held accountable in accordance with the law," the artist declared.
