Kenyan TikTok creator Judy Moraa has died just three months before she was due to marry her partner, Mathew Ocharo.
Judy died on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Bosongo Hospital in Kisii, according to reports and a funeral announcement shared after her death. She had reportedly been in and out of the intensive care unit after falling ill.
Her death has left followers of the couple's TikTok account, TheOcharo'sfamily, mourning the loss of a familiar face on the platform.

Judy and Mathew had planned to hold their wedding on December 20 in Nyanchwa, Kisii County.
The planned wedding was to mark a new chapter for the couple. Instead, the date now comes as the family prepares to mourn Judy.
Reports indicate that Judy leaves behind Mathew and a son. Mathew is also known to have served as a chorister at SDA Church Betterliving Getembe.
Judy's final TikTok message
Judy's final TikTok post has attracted particular attention following news of her death.
In the post, she asked her followers to pray for her and requested a Bible verse as she sought healing.
“Niponye niwe huru. Someone bless me with a verse.”
The message has since been viewed differently by followers who knew her through the platform.
At the time she posted it, however, there was no indication to her online audience that it would become her final message.
Friends speak about her illness.
Friends of the late content creator have said Judy had been battling a short illness before her death.
Some of those who spoke about her condition claimed that she had experienced a swollen stomach before her condition worsened.
