CRITICAL THINKING TOP SKILL FOR FUTURE INNOVATORS, SURVEY FINDS
Critical thinking and problem-solving are emerging as the most important skills for future innovators, according to the Global Index 2026 survey published in the Bosch Tech Compass 2026. Forty-five per cent of respondents identified the skills as a priority, followed by creativity at 40 per cent, while STEM promotion and digital skills were cited by 33 and 32 per cent respectively. The survey also highlights lifelong learning, collaboration, entrepreneurship, resilience and emotional intelligence as key competencies for the future.
