Anti-drug abuse agency NACADA has pledged to work with religious leaders to strengthen grassroots efforts against drugs and substance abuse. Acting Director of Public Education Judith Twala said the authority will convene a meeting with evangelical church leaders next month to equip them to identify and support people struggling with addiction. Speaking at a consultative meeting held by NCIC, Twala said religious leaders have a critical voice that can help curb the vice.
