Former National Assembly Speaker Francis Ole Kaparo has criticised the government for allowing a series of disruptions at political rallies, saying the trend poses a serious threat to the lives of Kenyans. Kaparo said police officers have a major responsibility to arrest anyone who disrupts public peace. He also warned Kenyans against taking the law into their own hands or allowing themselves to be used by politicians to cause violence.
