Kenya’s political temperature is about to get a new reading, with a new polling firm promising to take the pulse of voters from the grassroots ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Bobea Report is set to launch its maiden national opinion poll on August 31, 2026, in what the organization describes as a people-centred exercise designed to capture the views of ordinary Kenyans. The poll will seek to identify Kenyans’ preferred candidates for the presidency, all 47 governorships, senatorial and women representative seats, 290 parliamentary constituencies and 1,450 MCA wards.

Unlike conventional polls that often focus heavily on major population centres, Bobea Report says its data collection will extend into villages, markets, farms and matatu stages across the country.

A First of Its Kind: From the Grassroots, for the People

The organization also plans to release a presidential poll every month, positioning the exercise as a continuing barometer of changing public opinion ahead of the 2027 elections. changing public opinion ahead of the 2027 elections.

“We went to the people where they are. This is the authentic voice of Wanjiku,” the organization said.

A Living Barometer of the Nation

The polling firm says the August 31 launch will not be a one-off exercise.

Recognising that public opinion can change in response to new political developments, Bobea Report plans to release a Presidential Opinion Poll every month, alongside regular updates covering the other elective positions.

The organization says it will track the pulse of the nation in real-time every month until the ballot.

“Bobea Report is not here to shape opinions. We are here to reflect them. We are not here to predict the future; we are here to give Kenyans the mirror to see themselves and to give leaders the compass to understand their people. We will shape and completely change how Kenyans look at pollsters. We are here to revolutionize credibility, accuracy, and transparency,” said the Bobea Report Leadership.

Why Kenya Should Trust Bobea Report

Bobea Report has outlined three key reasons it believes its polling approach will stand out:

1. Unrivaled Scale: No poll in Kenya has ever attempted to cover all 1,450 wards simultaneously.

2. Grassroots Methodology: The firm's data is collected from the ground up rather than through top-down projections.

3. Total Independence: Bobea Report says it is beholden to no political party, candidate or corporation, adding that its loyalty is only to the truth and the Kenyan people.

The organization says the initiative is more than a polling launch, describing it as the birth of a new democratic culture where every Kenyan counts — from Turkana to Kwale and from Busia to Garissa.

“The countdown has begun. Kenya will Bobea on 31st August.”
