DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has dismissed claims that he will step down or act as a kingmaker in the 2027 general election, asserting that he is not a kingmaker. Speaking to young people at his Wamunyoro home, he argued that his 2024 impeachment as Deputy President does not legally disqualify him, noting that he remains eligible while his legal appeals are active.
