A ban on flavours in nicotine pouches and vapes could push some Kenyan users back to cigarettes, with 32 per cent saying they would return to smoking if flavoured products were banned. The findings are from a Campaign for Safer Alternatives (CASA) survey, which also found that 18 per cent would smoke more and 33 per cent would seek flavoured products elsewhere. CASA is urging Parliament to consider the potential impact as it debates proposed tobacco-control amendments.
