Kenyan Content Creator Scholah , popularly known as Gen Z Mama Mboga, has announced the end of her content collaboration with fellow Creator DappaMan, revealing that their relationship videos were scripted.
In a statement shared on her TikTok and Instagram page, Scholah said she had received numerous questions about her relationship with DappaMan and decided to address the matter directly.
“The content we did together was all scripted. Nothing about it was real. We were never a real couple.”
Scholah said the decision to end their collaboration was hers and that she is now choosing to concentrate on her personal life, growth, and content that reflects her more authentically.
She also asked her audience to respect her decision and allow her to move forward without continued speculation about the two.
“That chapter is now closed for me. Moving forward, you will not see any content from me with him.”

How their ‘relationship’ began
The announcement comes months after Scholah and DappaMan publicly presented themselves as a couple on social media.
On January 5, the pair shared loved-up photos and videos, confirming their relationship after weeks of speculation. They also indicated that they would work together on content for platforms including TikTok and YouTube.
At the time, their relationship attracted attention from fans who followed their interactions both online and through their joint content.
Scholah had already built a sizeable online following through her journey as a vegetable vendor and content creator. Her story gained widespread attention after she spoke about running her vegetable business despite holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University.

Scholah chooses authenticity
In her latest statement, Scholah said her decision is about creating content that feels genuine to her while focusing on her personal growth.
She thanked her followers for supporting her throughout the journey and asked them to respect her privacy as she moves into what she described as a new chapter.
She also addressed DappaMan directly, thanking him for the time they worked together and the lessons she learnt from the experience.
“I wish you growth, peace, and success in everything you do next.”

Scholah's statement does not indicate that the two were in a private romantic relationship outside their content. Instead, she specifically described the relationship portrayed in their videos as scripted.
The revelation gives a different perspective on the couple's earlier social media content, which had led many followers to believe they were romantically involved.
For now, Scholah says she is moving on and wants her next chapter to focus on her life, growth, and more authentic storytelling.
