Social media personality Brian Mwenda has offered a KSh50,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of two men accused of stealing a woman’s phone along Thika Superhighway.
The incident happened on Saturday, August 22, near Muthaiga Police Station.
Mwenda shared a video showing himself pursuing the suspects, who were riding away on a motorcycle after allegedly snatching the phone.

In the video, Mwenda is seen driving along the busy highway as a passenger records the fleeing motorcycle.
The two men appear to maintain speed as Mwenda follows them, with the footage capturing the pursuit along the road.

He posted: "These two thugs have snatched a phone from a lady along Thika Road right after Muthaiga Police Station. We have tried to chase them but they succeeded. I'll pay 50,000 to anyone who has any information that can lead to the arrest of these thugs."
The reward immediately attracted attention online, with the video circulating widely across social media platforms.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged theft, including whether the suspects were eventually arrested or whether the stolen phone was recovered, had not been independently confirmed at the time of publication.
